Magnificent Morning
Wow, why is it when you want things to move quickly they seem to just crawl along and when you want them to take their time, things seem to fly like the winds across a dessert. Got to keep focused, must focus, must get this weary body of mine moving, get the mind thinking, It’s only Thursday and the cows still need milked and the pigs sloped, and oh ya need to collect the eggs out the hen house. Or is that need to start to the laundry, pull something out of the freezer for dinner while while I’m in the basement, and did I remember to put the coffee on last night before I went to bed. Seriously, work, work. work what work needs done first, second, I hope I’m not late signing on the computer, that little pop up asking where I have been is so annoying, is this really Thursday? Today and tomorrow, today and tomorrow, wow. Have you been there, are you there? You are not alone. We all have had those days and will have them many times over. We can laugh at the scenarios, you pick’em, you make them up, let your mind wonder to your area, your situation. The point is, we all struggle sometimes with getting motivated, even on a good week, and if it is a bad week, heaven help us it is even worse. But the show must go on, work is there, chores still need done, it’s not just for the employed but the retired and for those still in school. So collect your thoughts, get them into one bag, sorted or not and let’s get the show back on the war path. It’s Thursday, the workhorse day, so we have much to do and need to do much. Like you have forgot I’m sure, we still need to watch out for those in true need and give any assistance and help we can. So pull on the hikers and grab your staff, we are heading down this mountain and we want out of these woods before quitting time. It may be hard for some, easy for others, but we need to pick it up and let’s go make us a most Happy, Happy all day long.
