Happy Hump Day / 3-7-18

Happy Hump Day EveryOne
Hi-Ho-Hi-Ho it up to the top we go, Yes folks today is the day we take it to the top. All the way, and when we get there we will have arrived at the half way point of the day and half way point of the week. When we get there, first things first, plant that flag on the top of that ridge. Then take a few moments to look back and note just how far we have come, then turn and make a mental map of where we need to go. But remember this is not the end of our journey for today, we still have another half day to go and to get to our camp site. So far this week I have had to use every ounce of attitude adjustment that I can find. I will be the first to tell you that a positive attitude will always make the medicine of work go down a little easier, But this morning when I checked my cubed sugar supplies I was down to only a few cubes left. Yikes and it’s only hump day and we still have to get started. But that’s that way it goes sometimes, and we need to make lemonade or limeade out of the lemons and limes sent our way, even if we need to make it with simple syrup (ok that was a cooking joke, simple syrup is made by equal parts water and sugar, boil water till sugar is dissolved. Put in squeeze bottle and store in refrigerator, it has a ton of uses including adding flavoring to it for uses in cocktails and so much more. ok so much for your cooking lesson for the day). But for now we need to do what we have to, to keep our attitude full of sunshine and make the most of what has been given us. With that, we will come on those in true need, and we will stop and share whatever we have and can to see them to their next point. So let’s get those hikers on, laced up well and take hold that staff and let’s get this day stomping, and let’s go make us a most Happy, Happy all day long, no matter what comes our way.
