Parsnip Thursday EveryOne
Welcome back my friends to a show that never ends (thank you Emerson, Lake & Palmer). They may have been talking about another show, but the statement is true for us, This work show, this daily grind of getting up and doing. Some mornings are harder than others, and you just want to stay in bed, pull the sheets and blankets up over the head and wish the world would pass you bye. But you can’t, and the world although does keep going, it does not slow down or wait for you to catch up with it. What you miss is missed, and all opportunities with it. So on these mornings that you just want to find a corner to go hide in, or go back to bed and forget all that needs done, you need to dig deep, sometimes beyond the toes and find anything and everything to get it going. If not for you, for those around you and all that you come in contact with on a daily basis. I know this morning is not for everyone, but you might know someone that it does, and you need to be reminded of this. As we pull on our hikers this morning and grab hold our staff and head out the door, remember that person that might need that hand may be your cube mate, your neighbor, your sibling, a friend, someone you never expected. Reach out and help, if needed see they get to that help station so they can learn to function again. So for us, let’s get our stuff together, get to the starting line, and shine like the sun is within us. Make it a pleasure to be around and let that attitude of gratitude be who you are in everything you do and say, and let’s go out and make us a most Happy, Happy all day long.
