May the joy of a new day and the fire of the sun light your soul today with overflowing excitement for what lies before us. Many can not see the sun, and live in darkness, be grateful for what you can see, Many can not hear what sounds bring joy to our ears, they live in silence. Many can not get out of bed and walk to a window or outside and experience that wonders that await each one of us that stroll about without a thought, as they have lost use of their legs, may our limbs be filled with joy each step we take, and each swim we make. My point this morning is, as we have come on this Thursday morning struggling to just get it going, we have so much to be thankful for, so much to be grateful for, so much many others can't. Take the joy of what is given, the joy of what you have, the joy of opportunities, the joy of adventure with you. You think I am just talking to the audience, guess again, this writer has his days, wondering if getting up is worth it, questioning if what I am doing really makes a difference, worries about stability of job (and when you are in your late 50s thats a real issue as more and more jobs get moved off-shore.) You see, this is not just for all you who are reading this. This is not written for a particular person that popped into my head, or that I came across at the market that I thought needed it. No, this is written more often than not for me. I need reminded of the blessings I wake up with each morning, and get out of bed with and keep going through the day. You may not be here today, but what about tomorrow, or next week or next month? This is why I always remind us to keep our eyes and ears open to those that have fallen, lost their way, hope and left them and stop and listen and help in any way you can. May the joy of a new day and the fire of the sun light your soul today with overflowing excitement, and share it. Now as we get our day started and get that snorkel gear on, this is the last day in the water as we will end the week on land. Swim hard, kick harder and make the most whatever comes your way and be proud of all you do. Now tis the time to get in the water and go make us a most Happy, Happy all day long, and share it with as many as we can along our way.
