I am going to start this week by saying at the end of June I will be bringing this morning letter to an end. I will do this little ditty only Mondays and Fridays, then my last post will come on 6-26-2020. I had my entire year already planned out, I still have all my weekly themes planned, but has become clear to me that my time has come and gone. This letter is not reaching as it was was 10 even 15 years ago. This letter I have been doing now for round 25 plus years. Most people don't get the chance let along to do something for 25+.years. But this is a lot of work, I don't get paid for it, it's been a labor of love. But now is the time to exit the scene. I hope you stick with me through the end and see what themes I have for the next 4 weeks. Thank you to all who have read, and stayed with me, I do appreciate it. Now let's finish on the strong side and go out with a bang. Now on with the show.
Hello June, can you believe we have made it this far this year? On one hand I thought it was going to take forever for summer to get here. On the other hand January and the college bowl games and the Superbowl just seem like yesterday. Many snows have come hand gone and now the grass is green and the flowers are in full bloom, so are the days of our lives (all pun intended). But really, we take for granted on one hand the time that we have, yet can’t wait for the next on the other forgetting to savor every moment we are given. So as you start your new day, new week, new month, (WOW that’s a lot) take a moment to reflect on the past and then give a glance to the future as be grateful for a wonderful new chance to experience all that is before you. Then take a deep breath, lace up the shoes and let’s get this show on the road, Today is not going to wait for us and yesterday is long gone. We have a mountain to climb, people to see, places to go and things to do, and many lives to brighten and shine into. May every moment count and remember also smile and be happy, for you will never have this moment again to do good. You know the drill, just go do it and may you have a most Happy, Happy all day long.
